This house was opened in 2004 and is the heart of the House of Hope Community Life Development Program.
In this house abandoned, neglected, or orphaned babies are housed until they are adopted, placed in permanent foster care, or reunited with family under social worker supervision. The project serves as a place of safety for these children. It works in close relation with the Department of Social Development and the Department of Health. Since June 2004 over 400 babies have passed through this safe-house.
It is open 24/7 and serves the community in all crisis situations.
